In the morning Vincent woke up smiling. He and Catherine had a wonderful time exploring the tunnels together yesterday. Their evening was spent making love until the wee hours of the morning. Vincent thought his stamina was great but last night and this morning; well let's just say Catherine proved him wrong. Where she got the energy he may never know. When she finally let him retire to his chamber, he was totally exhausted but quite fulfilled.Rolling out of his bed he noticed a magazine on his nightstand "Modern Bride" ‘now where did that come from? ‘ Maybe Catherine left it there. Lying it back down, he said he would ask her later. Going to the basin he washed his face and brushed his teeth. Tiding his bed he went next door to wake up Catherine as he does every morning. Seeing that she was still asleep, he removed his robe and climbed in bed next to her and his lovemaking began.
Stretching lazily Catherine said "Vincent promise me you will never stop waking me this way." "I have become addicted to your lovemaking." "I don't think I could start my day without it." Pulling him back to her she was ready to start session number three.
”Catherine isn't amazing how our lovemaking gets better and better and I am afraid my love that if I do not get you out of this bed and start our day,I will be tempted to see how much better is can get."
Smiling at him she said, Vincent I wouldn't mind that at all."
Shaking his head he said Catherine what am I going to do with you and he kissed her lips.
With a wicked gleam in her eyes she said, I will give you all afternoon to think about it. But your evening belongs to me. Giving him a quick kiss on the lips she rolled out of bed and noticed a magazine on her nightstand.Picking it up she rolled back over and asked Vincent if he left it for her.
"No Catherine I did not, let me see, smiling when he realized it was the same one left in his room . "Catherine I found the same magazine when I woke up this morning and was going to ask you about it."
"Since neither of us left it than who did Vincent?”
”I have no idea Catherine.” "We can inquiry about them later.” Climbing out of her bed, he told her he was going to go get dressed and would come to get her when he was done. Giving her one more kiss, he returned to his chamber.
When he was dressed before Catherine he told her to take her time, he wants to see father anyway. He would return in a half hour. Placing a kiss on her brow he went to see father.
Arriving at father's chamber Vincent could tell that he was not there and noticed a book on his desk titled "Secrets To A Successful Marriage."Looking at the book he said "this is a strange book for father to have”and he laid it back down when he heard his cane on the floor.
Good morning son, I need to discuss some tunnel issues with you if you have a minutes.
"Sure father." "What would you like to discuss and the book was forgotten for now."
Two days later Catherine and Vincent woke up to find a cake decorating book on their nightstands. On the front was the picture of a beautifully decorated wedding cake. Once again neither knew how they got there.
By the third day another magazine was there and they had a pretty good idea what was going but kept silent .
When they woke up the fourth day each found an unopened box of rice. Picking it up Vincent smiled and said that's it." Leaving his chamber he almost ran right into Catherine . They saw each other’s boxes and they laughed..
"Catherine I think someone has plans for us and I am pretty sure who it is.Taking her hand and their boxes of rice they went to see father.
"Catherine, Vincent come in." "You took look well." "What can I do for you ?" At the same time they held up their boxes.
"Oh I see" said father feeling slightly quilty that he had been caught. Before he could respond, "Jacob I took care of their rice do you need me to get some more magazines?" "When Mary realized he wasn't alone she said oh my looking just as quilty as Jacob."
”Mary it seems Catherine and Vincent already know what we did .”
”I hope you two are not mad at us said Mary.” "We just want to see the two of you married.
Vincent laid down his box and than Catherine’s and pulled her close."Father, Mary we appreciate all you went through for us but it was not necessary. "Four days ago Catherine agreed to become my wife." "We were going to tell you than but our subtle hints began to appear so we decided to wait.
"Son I am so happy for both of you." "Have you decided when you would like to get married?."
Looking at Catherine, Vincent smiled and said in four weeks.

They have been married two weeks now. Catherine could not be happier. She is now a full pledged tunnel wife much to Vincent's delight. He has spoiled her terribly since she moved Below. Every morning he wakes her with his lovemaking. While she washes up and gets dressed, he brings breakfast to their chamber. The more her pregnancy advances, the more attentive he becomes. He refuses to let her do too much and makes sure she took a nap everyday. Today he was called away to do some tunnels repairs. Catherine would miss him being with her but she was happy to be able to do some things on her own. She loves him for wanting to spoil her but she wants to do more. With this in mind, she decided to wash their clothes and give their chamber a thorough cleaning. Tying a scarf around her head, she put on a pair of old maternity jeans and a sweatshirt and began her tasks.
By day's end she was a little tried but it felt good. Than she noticed her ankles had swollen and she may have over did it today. Knowing Vincent would be upset seeing her ankles this way, she hurried and washed and changed climbing into bed she propped her feet upon a pillow to help the swelling.
An hour later she was awaken by a kiss from her handsome husband. "Hi my love." "I did not hear you return." "You must be tried come lay in bed with me and rest a while." As she slid over she made sure he did not notice her ankles when the blanket covering them was accidently moved aside. Taking her hand, he said "he would like to wash up first and would be back in a few minutes .” After he left , she looked at her ankles "damn " they are still a little swollen. Placing them back under the covers just before Vincent returned.
"So sweetheart, do you feel better now asked Catherine?"
"Yes I do" climbing in bed beside her and pulling her close. They were silent for a few moments than Vincent said, as he lightly caressed her face, " you over did it today didn't you my love?" Seeing the stunned look on her face, he said "Catherine it is hard for me not to notice things especially when it comes to you."
"Well I did work a good bit today but Vincent it felt good." "I love you and what you were doing for me but you were spoiling me too much." "I needed to do this for myself." "Vincent, kissing his cheek, don't be upset with me."
"Catherine, covering her tiny had with his, how could I be upset with you wanting to be yourself?" "I'll tell you what, I will let you do a little more." "Would you like that sweetheart?"
"Yes I would like that very much." "Vincent would you believe that with all the work I did today, I still missed you terribly." "I need being with you so much that it scares me." "'I could not survive if I was separated from you."
